Treasury sanctions list checked for financial services and healthcare hires.
Definition
The Office of Foreign Assets Control's Specially Designated Nationals list identifies individuals and entities the U.S. has sanctioned. OFAC/SDN screening is standard for banking, money-services, healthcare, and government-contractor hires; the list is checked at onboarding and typically continuously thereafter.
