Follow the guidelines below to address the specific issues:

If your personal information is incorrect:

If any of the details below are incorrect, you’ll need to update your personal information rather than file a dispute:

  • Name
  • Date of birth (DOB)
  • Email
  • Social Security number (SSN)
  • Phone number
  • Postal (ZIP) code

To update personal information, email your order number to admin@safesthires.com, reference the incorrect information and state the correct information.

If information on your completed report isn’t yours or is inaccurate

If your completed background check report contains information you believe is inaccurate, you can file a dispute.

Examples of issues you can dispute:

  • A record reported doesn't belong to you.
  • A record has incorrect details, such as dates or charge type.
  • A case status changed after the record was reported.
  • The SSN Address Trace contains incorrect information
