This calculator applies SafestHires' published per-search service prices and volume tiers to your inputs. Court access fees and other third-party charges are not included; request a written quote for your actual client mix.

What changes the total?
Different end clients may require different search scopes. Assignments needing driving records, verifications, healthcare sanctions or drug screening cost more than a narrow criminal and identity search. County count also changes the total when a candidate has lived in multiple jurisdictions.

How the tool works
- • Price per check = the sum of the selected searches' published service prices. County criminal is multiplied by the number of counties.
- • County service price comes from the selected state's published price; if none is available, the national average is used.
- • Volume tier by monthly checks: 25+ is 5% off, 50+ is 10%, 100+ is 15%, 200+ is 20%, 500+ is 22%.
- • Per placement = price per check × (1 − tier). Monthly = per placement × monthly checks. Annual = monthly × 12.
Limits and exclusions
- • Court and repository access fees, DMV charges, drug collection fees and other third-party charges are not included.
